Timeline

1

Research & Planning

Jun 2024

We began by researching urban gardening challenges and existing solutions. We conducted surveys with potential users to understand their needs and pain points.

2

Prototyping

Jul 2024

We developed initial prototypes of both the hardware sensors and the mobile application interface, testing them with a small group of users.

3

Development

Sep 2024

Based on feedback, we refined our designs and implemented the full system, including sensor calibration and data analysis algorithms.

4

Testing & Iteration

Oct 2024

After we are confident about all the projects, we started to test all the circuits, make sure they are solid, and working on the tutorial book.

5

Crowdfunding

Feb 2025

63 backers pledged CA$ 20,614 to help bring this project to life.
