Grade 11 High school student from University Hill Secondary.
About
Kris Yang is a high school student at University Hill Secondary who has a growing interest in electrical and mechanical engineering. He enjoys working with hardware and hopes to explore more in this area in the future. Through his time doing project, Bio-medical Learning Kit at EIM Technology, Kris contributed to several aspects by focusing on 3D modeling and circuit design. He helped troubleshoot hardware issues and took the lead in writing a detailed lab report as part of a structured testing plan for the learning kit. His motivation to build and improve things reflects a strong passion for engineering and learning through real experience.

Experiences with Us

Hardware Testing
Period: Aug 2024 - Feb 2025 [Volunteer] [Part-time] [On-site]
Kris participated in the Biomedical Learning Kit project, with his primary role focused on hardware testing. As the kit includes multiple projects, Kris was responsible for identifying and assembling the breadboard circuit for the heartbeat sensor module. He tested the circuit, diagnosed errors, and implemented solutions. Throughout the process, he documented his work in technical reports. In addition to the electronics, Kris also designed an enclosure for the project, enhancing its appearance and making it feel like a more complete product. Viewing the project from a learner's perspective, he wrote a reflective report after completing the entire kit. This was his first technical report, and it already demonstrated a solid grasp of the skills he acquired and applied effectively.
